Emergencies
If you feel that you are in danger of harming or killing yourself, then you should call 911 or go to the emergency room of your nearest hospital. Please note that the Royal Ottawa Hospital does not have an emergency room.
If you or someone you know is having a serious mental health problem, you can call the Mental Health Crisis Line at 613-722-6914 (within Ottawa) or 1-866-996-0991 (outside Ottawa). Help is also available from the Ottawa Distress Centre at 613-238-3311.
